    About the event

The Dark Side of the City — set off with us on a journey through Warsaw’s gangster-filled 1930s. 📅 Every Friday, 19:00 📍 Start: Palace of Culture and Science on the Emilii Plater Street side Together with Rafał Dąbrowiecki — a well-known guide and master of urban tales — we follow the traces of the underworld, gangsters, meat pie shops and traces that are easy to miss today but once inspired fear. Bring friends and hop on Ogórek to see Warsaw in an extraordinary way. You will learn, among others, the true stories of Tata Tasiemka, Ryfka Kij and Doctor Łokietek. You will hear who kept his beloved’s head in a jar and why it was better not to cross a Warsaw prostitute. You will find out that some streets can still send a shiver down your spine. 🔞 This is not an ordinary tour. It’s a history lesson you won’t find in textbooks — adults only. We have tastings and many other surprises! 🔗 Book a spot: visit the organizer’s website or search for "Mroczna Strona Miasta Ogórek" to find current information and reservations.
