You are invited to a special improvised comedy show in which comedians from Kolektyw Śmiesznie will perform continuations of films selected by the Timeless Film Festival Warsaw team. Timeless FFW is a festival of films that are old enough to probably have their own apartment and political views. We dig them out of film history and show them on the big screen, where they still feel most at home. Lovers of old films, film studies students, fans of black-and-white cinema and respected film buffs — make some noise and warm up before the festival marathon. The show will take place at Resort Komedii. Before you come to Timeless, Timeless comes to you! The festival programmers presenting their favourite films from this year’s lineup are: Monika Łuczyk — social media coordinator. She has a long list of classics to catch up on and watches some of them as part of her work. Kuba Kucharczyk — handles applications and settlements; he likes watching old films because it makes it easy to forget about work. Maja Banasiak — does various tasks at the foundation; outside the festival she plants flowers to influence growth. Kolektyw Śmiesznie will add its two cents to the world of old films. The collective has existed since 2017; it is made up of Warsaw-based comedians: Piotr Gasik Ewa Gryczon Maciej Kaczyński Martyna Kowalska Aleksandra Markowska Agnieszka Matan Joanna Pawluśkiewicz Agata Rozbicka Grzegorz Uzdański The collective uses many forms — from stand-up to improvisation. They love the absurd. Their projects include Przegląd Mokotowskich Awantur, Zespół Stresu Poświątecznego and Baboleiro (the life situations of unreal women). They perform, teach, sing and write. They collaborate with, among others, Resort Komedii, Klub Komediowy, Dom Kultury KADR and Hala Koszyki (the comedy series 'Śmiech na Hali'). Tickets: 45 zł. Tickets are sold online only. Resort Komedii is a space friendly to queer people and to groups whose voices are underrepresented in mainstream art. We aim to create a safe and comfortable space for audience members and performers. We respond to actions and statements that bear the marks of xenophobia, racism, sexism and homo-, bi-, queer- and transphobia. The show is intended for adults — coarse language and topics such as divorce and paying taxes may appear. If you still want to bring a minor, you do so at your own responsibility.
The purchase of an ad ticket is made on the website of the official ticket distributor. Keep in mind that if the seats are numbered, and the tickets are disputed by several companies, then each of them provides a different pool of seats to choose from
