Singapore. Krystyn Olszewski: City, Urbanism, Future (exhibition) From 12 February 2026 the ZODIAK Warsaw Pavilion of Architecture will present an exhibition dedicated to the spatial planning concepts for Singapore developed by the Polish architect and urbanist Krystyn Olszewski. The exhibition is curated by Piotr Woliński. The beginnings of twentieth-century Singapore tell the story of a metropolis facing a crisis in urban land management. As a result of economic, social and technological changes, Singapore confronted the challenge of rapid urbanization. Decentralization and the construction of a structure linking living, working and leisure spaces connected by an extensive transport system were to repair the city. In this transformation Krystyn Olszewski played a special role — his long-term, systematic spatial planning became the foundation for building the modern city.
