A sociologist, musician, lyricist and composer. Since 1990 associated with the band T.Love, one of the most important Polish rock bands. In 2004 he began his solo career with the album Sidney Polak, for which he received three Fryderyks – in the categories: author, composer and album of the year (alternative music). In his work he freely combines reggae, hip-hop and urban folk, creating a distinctive, original sound. The artist recently released his third solo album 3, which consciously refers to his debut. It is a return after several years' break – mature, sincere and very personal. Sidney, with his typical ease, talks about the big city, everyday life, love, longing and failures, while maintaining a positive message and ironic distance.
