    About the event

The starting point for this concert was the song "Zakochani" with music by Władysław Szpilman and lyrics by Bronisław Brok. It was this piece that artistically brought together two actors and vocalists — Katarzyna Dąbrowska and Marcin Januszkiewicz. They first sang it together in 2011 during the gala concert Szpilmania — tych lat nie odda nikt directed by Andrzej Strzelecki. The concert Zakochani grows out of that artistic encounter. The title song becomes an impulse to build a story about relationships, closeness, and maturation in music and in love. It is a personal narrative of two artists who were connected by one song and a similar sensitivity. The program will feature joint interpretations: Zakochani Deszcz Ktoś między nami Złe zachowanie Wszystkie stworzenia małe i duże Marcin Januszkiewicz: Niewiele ci mogę dać, Kamień i mgła, Tylko mnie poproś do tańca, Jesteś szalona (in a jazz interpretation) Katarzyna Dąbrowska: Kocham cię życie, Jesteś lekiem na całe zło, Odchodząc zabierz mnie, Godzina miłowania The whole performance is based on deliberate simplicity and precision of interpretation. Jacek Kita’s arrangements organize the concert’s narrative, emphasize the pieces’ dramaturgy, and leave space for the words and the relationship between the artists. May 18, 7:00 PM — Teatr Rampa You are welcome!
