Fusion Mandala vol.4 | Stage project with Dominika Suchecka After the success of the previous three editions, Dominika Suchecka and Hamsa Dance Studio invite dancers and students of Fusion Bellydance (tribal fusion) to the 4th edition of the intensive stage project: Fusion Mandala. SCHEDULE: Saturdays, 12:00–16:30 (4 hours of classes and a 30 min break). The aim of the project is to transport the audience to another reality through dance — in audiovisual and energetic terms. Participants will gain progress in fusion bellydance technique, improvisation skills and new stage experiences. The course is intended for those who have mastered the basics of fusion bellydance (tribal fusion) and want to take on a stage challenge. Additional information: Participants may be asked to make parts of costumes or props; prior preparation is not required — Dominika instructs on the spot. Participation in the project without a performance is possible (in that case the participant attends and pays only for the first 3 sessions). IN EACH 4H SESSION PROGRAM: TECHNIQUE: intensive learning and drills of essential movements: undulations, bellyrolls, figure-eights, pops, locks, shimmies, fusion arm movements and their combinations (layering, stacking). Techniques borrowed from other dances, with and without props. NEW ELEMENTS: new inspirations and combinations beyond the basic canon, giving the dance freshness and originality. IMPRO: structured improvisation exercises developing imagination, body awareness and musicality. CHOREO: learning new choreographies by Dominika. VENUE: - Central Warsaw — Kopernika 30/319 (near Nowy Świat metro). - Online (applies to the first 3 sessions) via Zoom + recordings. - Stage rehearsals and the premiere of the mini piece will take place at the Okęcka Performance Hall in Warsaw. PRICING: - Full package (technique, choreography, staging, rehearsal and performance): 1280 zł (15 h). - Only choreography-technical part: 810 zł (possibility of payment in 3 installments of 270 zł). For nearly 20 years she has been dancing, teaching and performing domestically and abroad. She completed a two-year instructor course in Berlin (2011), regularly travels to Cairo, has performed and taught at international festivals (including Tribal Art in Barcelona, Ahlan Wa Sahlan in Egypt). She creates an original whirling fusion style and is the artistic director of Hamsa Dance Studio.
