MACRAMÉ PLANT HANGERS This time we invite you to braid together using macramé techniques! We will learn basic knots and weaves, and then using them we will design and make a unique plant hanger. We will use cotton cords from the circular economy as material. To create your own plant hanger we will not use needles, wires, or crochet hooks — only our hands! The workshop is open to adults. The foundation’s goal is to expand ecological awareness, draw attention to the objectification of plants and promote the role of plant art and ecodesign. We are involved in, among other things, rescuing unwanted plants and rehoming them; we organize workshops, talks and events about vegetation and floristry to increase public awareness about the importance and care of plants. We organize, among others: - repotting workshops - jar gardens - kokedama spheres - head wreaths - macramé braiding - botanical postcards - and many more We also organize the recurring festival dziewczyny+rośliny, where we present plant art and host blocks of workshops, meetings, craft fairs and live music.
