Jarboe, an icon of experimental music and former co-creator of the band Swans, will perform on 10.05.2026 at the Niebo club in Warsaw. She will be accompanied on stage by Thor Harris and Joy Von Spain. From 1985 to 1997 Jarboe stood alongside Michael Gira at the helm of Swans. After the band’s breakup she focused on her solo career: she released many solo albums, recorded the cult record Jarboe & Neurosis with Neurosis and toured with Blixa Bargeld and Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten), Merzbow, Boredoms and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Her music is exploratory, diverse and bold, while also melodic and expressive. She has performed at festivals such as Roskilde, Roadburn, Pukkelpop, Dark Mofo and Reading Festival, and her sound and performance works have been presented in galleries, theaters and sacred spaces worldwide. In spring 2026 she will release a new album on the Belgian label Consouling Sounds, and the upcoming concerts will be an opportunity to hear the next chapter of her artistic path. On stage Jarboe will be joined by Thor Harris — a versatile musician and visual artist, known among others for his role as drummer in Swans (2010–2016) and his collaborations with Shearwater, Xiu Xiu and Devendra Banhart.
