Teatr Pijana Sypialnia draws on the work of Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński and, in its characteristic style, turns the familiar motifs of the Small Theatre of the World from "Przekrój" upside down, transferring them to a contemporary international stage. Among the characters in the play, the stage will not be without Hermenegilda Kociubińska, the dog Fafik, Wacia's Wife and Professor Bączyński. However, the main role will be played by Society. The performance, a musical literary cabaret, takes place in a world on the brink of madness. It is raining. The bus doesn't come. People are being pickled in jars for cucumbers. Fortunately, there is him – Donald Makbomba – The Great Friend of Poland. He marks out a neutral zone where everyone can feel like themselves, of course within the limits of established norms. It's not easy, because Society must tighten its belt. After all, even poetry is getting more expensive. And then she appears – The Green Goose, green as hope! A struggle for influence in the neutral zone begins. The production with live music will include lyrical compositions with Gałczyński's texts, but musical worlds are often collided in surprising ways. "The Little Theatre The Green Goose" was an antidote to the world's situation at the time. Can literature, music and poetry also bring us solace today?
