TWO-DAY TRAINING: PSYCHODYNAMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY IN PREGNANCY AND PERINATAL PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC CARE AND WORK WITH THE DYAD The D. Winnicott Association of Child Psychotherapists in Kraków and the Mazovian Centre for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy invite psychologists, psychotherapists and midwives to a two-day training devoted to psychodynamic psychotherapy in the perinatal period. Participants may attend both days or choose a single day. The training serves as an introduction to a year-long seminar but can also function as an independent event. Day I – 25 April 2026 (Saturday), 10:00–17:15 Topic: Psychodynamic psychotherapy with a pregnant woman - specifics of psychological functioning during pregnancy - mental disorders in pregnancy - the psychotherapy process during pregnancy - case studies - possibility of supervision of a participant's work Participants will receive literature on the topic before the training. Day II – 26 April 2026 (Sunday), 10:00–17:15 Topic: Perinatal psychotherapeutic care. Working with the mother–infant dyad - psychodynamics of the end of pregnancy and the puerperium - working with the mother–infant dyad - the setting when working with a dyad - case studies Participants will receive literature on the topic before the training. Leader: Elżbieta Wilkowska - Psychologist (Jagiellonian University), certified (PTP) psychodynamic psychotherapist (KCP), trainee supervisor. - Specializes in work with pregnant women, the mother–infant dyad and families of children aged 0–3 years. - Experience gained, among others, at the Casa Angela Birth House in São Paulo and at the Habitare Association (prevention and intervention in maternal and child mental health). - Completed a two-year course in psychoanalytic infant observation using the Ester Bick method (Instituto SEDES Sapientiae, São Paulo) and the ISPHS infant observation seminar; currently in training with Tessa Baradon. - Works in private practice and at the St. Louis Specialist Children's Hospital in Kraków, where she works with dyads. - Vice-president of the D.
