Ceramics workshop – Relief-painted plate (26 cm) Why join? You will gain knowledge about different ceramic decorating techniques: a theoretical introduction, discussion of types of separators, presentation of works made in various techniques and explanation of the differences. You will learn the difference between classic cuerda seca and the relief painting glaze technique. You will master a unique method of relief decoration — available at only a few workshops in Poland. What to expect? You will learn how to select glazes and transfer patterns to achieve spectacular effects; you will learn which glazes work best and which to avoid. We work with glazes from different manufacturers — a huge color palette will allow you to create an exceptional, painterly design. You will receive practical tips on how to avoid mistakes — real examples and ways to prevent them. I will show which brushes work best for this technique and help choose a pattern — a ready-made or your own design. You will create a large dinner plate (26 cm), which after firing will be ready for collection after a few days. A small group ensures individual attention and a creative atmosphere. The workshop is for everyone — regardless of experience level; I will guide you step by step. You will also learn how to combine relief glazing with underglaze techniques and how to try this combination yourself.
