His breakthrough came with two singles: “Glitter & Gold”, recorded in an abandoned care home using filing cabinets instead of drums (the song went platinum in the USA), and “Fire”, personally chosen by Bradley Cooper for the film Burnt. Since then Barns’s songs have regularly appeared on alt‑rock charts, and his concerts are known for an atmosphere that can’t be replicated. Now fully independent, he proves that the power of his music doesn’t need the machinery of the industry. The Warsaw solo show will be a rare chance to hear his songs in their most honest, raw form.
