Christopher Cross, a soft rock legend and one of the most recognizable voices of the ’80s, will perform in Poland for the first time! The author of the timeless hits “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind” will present at Warsaw’s Progresja a cross-section of his more than 40-year career. The American singer and guitarist stormed the charts with his debut album “Christopher Cross” (1980), which won five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. The following year, together with Burt Bacharach, Carol Bayer and Peter Allen, he co-wrote the Oscar-winning hit “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)”, and subsequent singles like “Think of Laura” and “All Right” cemented his position as one of the decade’s most important artists.
