Murals in Muranów – a street-art history, guided walking tour

Tickets priced at 65 zł per person available at: https://pitur.vakanza.pl/ From pre-war Muranów almost no buildings survived. The only thing left was rubble. The district built on and from it is a worldwide-unique housing-estate monument to the ghetto. However, the socialist-realist blocks radically broke with the past and became a mask hiding the truth about it. In the last decade street artists have begun to fill that gap. On the walk we will learn the painted stories of the people, languages and cultures that once created Muranów’s extraordinarily colourful life. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We meet on Sunday at 11:00 in front of the entrance to the Muranów cinema. Duration: approx. 3 hours. Ending location: intersection of Andersa and Stawki streets.
