This is the 5th edition of the student-and-doctoral scientific conference "Effective, striking and ethical communication"! It will take place on May 30 and 31, 2026 at the University of Warsaw. We invite undergraduate, master's and doctoral students who study topics related to language and communication to participate. People wishing to deliver papers Auditors This year's edition of the conference is organized under the slogan "Looking for a common language." In this way we want to draw attention to the need to reflect on language in situations of growing tensions and conflicts. The guiding slogan is also an invitation to interdisciplinary exchange of ideas among young researchers from linguistics, rhetoric, sociology, psychology and other fields. It's a wonderful opportunity to show different perspectives! We will allocate 15 minutes for each presentation. Participation in the conference is free of charge. During the event we want to emphasise the role of discussion and relationship-building among community members from different academic centres. We also encourage visiting us as an auditor! The conference will be held in Polish. The event is organised by the Simple Language Scientific Circle.
