
The Student Scientific Circle of Procedural Law together with staff from the Department of Criminal Procedure and the Department of Civil Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw, invite you to the 6th National Scientific Conference: The Child's Voice in Court – children's rights in criminal and civil proceedings. Date and place: The event will take place on April 10, 2026, from 9:30 to 15:45 at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw (ul. Lipowa 4, Collegium Iuridicum II, Aula A3), Warsaw. About the conference: The conference will be devoted to the participation of the child in judicial proceedings and the standards for protecting their rights within the justice system. Topics will include, among others, the issues related to the child's hearing by the court, the protection of minor victims and witnesses in criminal proceedings, and the importance of the best interests of the child principle in family and guardianship matters. Active participation: Who can apply: students, alumni, doctoral candidates, persons holding academic degrees and titles, and practitioners. Presentation time: approximately 15 minutes (total for co-authored papers). Abstract submission deadline: March 25, 2026. Notification of invitation to active participation: March 31, 2026.
