Free admission Gallery “21 Gramów”, 2nd floor Duration of the event: Opening: 15 April at 18:00 Exhibition: 15 April – 10 May 2026 “Crowded in the City” is a painting exhibition by Agnieszka Butkowska, a graduate of the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she completed her diploma in Krzysztof Wachowiak’s studio. In her works the artist examines urban architecture, which becomes her starting point for constructing a picture through composition and colour. She extracts fragments and details: tight frames of buildings, bridges and housing estates, which she transforms into painterly, almost abstract compositions. In the crowded cityscape she looks for moments of respite — emptiness, rhythm and balance.
