Closer to Yourself - personal development workshops for women

About the event

Closer to Yourself – a series of meetings for women about their relationship with the body (Warsaw) We invite you to an intimate series of meetings for women who want to pause and look at their relationship with their body — gently, without pressure and without “fixing” themselves. The body is our main thread — we look at it through reflection, conversation and creative activities. Each meeting has its own theme that we will creatively engage with, and short exercises activating the senses — work with scent, touch, movement, contact with plants. Conversation and shared reflection are an important element. • to observe how we experience our bodies • to talk about the body images we carry within ourselves • to explore the topic through creative activities (including collage, spontaneous drawing) • to touch cultural and personal narratives about the body • to share experiences in a safe, intimate space with other women We meet in a steady, intimate group. During the meetings we combine elements of psychoeducation, creative activities, conversation and exchange of experiences in a small group. For whom is this? - who want to pause for a moment - who are looking for a gentle form of development - who feel that “something is calling them inward” - who are ready for an authentic encounter in a small group Organizational information: • Place: Galeria Metamorfozy, ul. Marszałkowska 81/20, 00-683 Warsaw • Dates: 4 meetings (1, 8, 15 and 22 April 2026) • Duration: 17:00–19:30 • Cost: thanks to funding the cost of participation for the whole series: 200 zł • The number of places is limited to maintain intimacy and comfort of work. Leaders: • Katarzyna Salmanowicz and Joanna Ćwik – attentive companions in work with women. We create the Closer to Yourself project – a duo that combines experience working with women with attention to process and elements of creative, artistic self-expression. The series was created out of the need to create a safe space for returning to feeling. We do not promise a revolution, but we believe that mindful meetings can genuinely affect everyday life.
