"Excuse me, what's going to happen here?" is heard at least once a week by the average cultural institution worker. Meeting the needs of the curious who want to see what's going to happen, we are launching a new series under the deliberately uninformative title: "Excuse me, what's going to happen here? We want — somewhat in the style of Western clubs — to invite people to jointly discover the new without knowing it in advance. We want to accustom audiences to the idea that sometimes it's worth going to a concert by a completely unknown artist, because you might discover something that perfectly suits you — that resonates with your sense of aesthetics, strikes a chord in your soul, and tells a story about your emotions. We want to show you, the audience, that the Polish music scene is rich in talent. That behind that meaningless band name, which the radio doesn't play and which doesn't have hundreds of views on YouTube, there is a lot of heart and skill. May the music we offer be for you like Kate Bush was for Max from Stranger Things and pull you out of Vecna's grasp! May it be a powder keg and blow up your problems, like Kmicic's kolubryna! May it give you the strength to survive, like potatoes for the Martian! May it give you wings, like Red Bull! May it care for your souls, like the Mandalorian cares for baby Yoda! During the concert the following will perform: Gypsy and the Acid Queen Gypsy and the Acid Queen is the pseudonym of Kraków musician Kuba Jaworski. Contrary to what the name suggests, there is no Queen in the band. There is only the mysterious Gypsy. Using the technique of looping sounds, guitars, electronic instruments and vocals, he single-handedly creates the sound of an entire band, leading listeners into a hypnotic trance. Dreamlike melodies combined with a psychedelic blues guitar sound and a slightly mystical voice tell stories not of this world. Concerts are an interesting experience; although there is only one person on stage, the experience is "transcendental." Gypsy is also a respected music producer, known primarily for collaborating with Igo. He is a co-author of the sound of his solo albums "Igo" and "12", which were warmly received by both critics and audiences. Beyond his role as producer, Gypsy also serves as the bandleader for Igo. Previously Gypsy was a member of the formation Ars Latrans Orchestra, with which he recorded two acclaimed albums: "Sztuka Miłości" and "Y2K". He has played over a hundred concerts across Poland, both solo and with his Orchestra. In 2023 he was a member of the Męskie Granie Orchestra, accompanying Igo, Mrozu, Vito Bambino and Bartek Królik on stage. Fetysz Fetysz is a band that entered the Polish scene last year with strong momentum. After success on the show "Must Be The Music", where their performance of the song "Sopot" earned them four yeses, the group debuted with their distinctive album "Miłości". The band consists of actor and vocalist Kamil Studnicki, who placed second on the show "Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo" and was the winner of the 34th Review of Acting Song in Wrocław; bassist Mateusz Śliwa, who has numerous festival and television appearances to his name such as the Festival in Opole and Pytanie na Śniadanie; and drummer with a rock soul Anna Tkaczyk, who currently plays in Michał Szpak's band and in Tricity musical projects. She is a laureate of the international drummers' award "Joe Hibbs" as well as Jakub Szulc — producer and guitarist, a participant in the ZAiKS camp. Fetysz is sensitivity, queerness and sexy energy. The band's name also refers to the original meaning of the word fetish, Portuguese "fetico", meaning charm and enchantment. In the band's music you can hear influences from 1980s synth-pop sounds and contemporary pop-alternative. Come. Listen. Trust. And then tell someone yourself: "Excuse me, you must see what's going to happen here!"
