TRAINING: “Disabled – Non-disabled in animation" Do you want to lead sessions where every child feels important, noticed and engaged? Do you work with a group that includes both typically developing children and children with physical and mental disabilities? This training is for you! Who is it for? leisure-time animators teachers and educators pedagogues and therapists employees of cultural centers, after-school clubs and foundations anyone working with children with diverse needs What will you learn? During the training you will learn a variety of activities adapted to mixed groups – both typically developing children and children with physical and mental disabilities. You will see concrete examples of games and exercises that: can be modified depending on participants' abilities, integrate the group and build a sense of safety, develop social, emotional and motor skills, allow every child to achieve success. Each activity will be: demonstrated in practice, explained step by step, discussed in terms of adaptations for different needs and limitations. You will learn how to: respond to challenging behaviours, plan integrative and engaging sessions, create a safe and supportive atmosphere, work with a highly diverse group in terms of functioning.
