    About the event

We invite you to special guided tours of the temporary exhibition “Romance au chocolat”. The exhibition is an extraordinary journey through five micro-worlds, created especially for the Fabryka Czekolady E.Wedel museum by Mirella von Chrupek – a visual artist, photographer and diorama designer. During approximately 45-minute tours, led by the artist, the exhibition’s curator and the museum director, you will learn about the making of the works, the symbolism of individual scenes and the stories hidden in the dioramas’ details. Chocolate becomes a landscape, a symbol, an artifact, and sometimes even the protagonist of the story. It’s a unique opportunity to hear what inspired the author and what to look for when viewing her works up close. We tour in a small group, without haste, in an atmosphere that encourages storytelling, questions and rediscovering the exhibition. Guided tours will be led by: 13 January (Tuesday), 19:30 — Mirella von Chrupek (author of the dioramas) 28 January (Wednesday), 19:30 — Robert Zydel (director of the Fabryka Czekolady E.Wedel Museum) 10 February (Tuesday), 19:30 — Robert Zydel (director of the Fabryka Czekolady E.Wedel Museum) 26 February (Thursday), 19:30 — Anna Grochowiak (exhibition curator) 4 March (Wednesday), 19:30 — Mirella von Chrupek (author of the dioramas) 11 March (Wednesday), 19:30 — Robert Zydel (director of the Fabryka Czekolady E.Wedel Museum) 15 April (Wednesday), 19:30 — Mirella von Chrupek (author of the dioramas) We invite you to purchase tickets: https://fabrykaczekolady.pl/wystawa-czasowa
