Prayer Through Dance – Divine Mercy Date: 10–12 April 2026 Dance is “a kind of bridge leading to a religious experience” (St. John Paul II). Dance engages the whole person and helps to express what is most deeply hidden in the heart. In the prayer of worshiping God through dance, correctness of steps is not important; what matters is to dance before the Father like a child and meet Him, experiencing His loving gaze. During the retreat sessions we will learn simple prayer dances that will help us enter into a relationship with God rich in Mercy. The program includes dance workshops, a conference, the Eucharist, and time for personal prayer and reflection. Leader: • Izabela Ceret — passionate about dance since childhood; for a long time she danced professionally, leading classes and dance groups. In academic pastoral work she discovered another dimension of dance: in simple steps and gestures she experiences more of God’s presence than in complicated choreographies, which gives her a fuller joy of dance also for the soul. Practical information: • Please bring comfortable shoes and loose clothing. • For the prayer evening please wear the lightest possible colors, preferably white; women are asked to wear skirts. • It’s worth bringing a high-capacity USB drive to copy music from the sessions.
