We invite you to an author meeting with Katarzyna Witerscheim combined with the presentation of the Łapka Filusia statuette. Klub czytelniczy ᴋᴏᴍɪᴋꜱᴏᴡᴀ ᴅʏꜱᴘᴜᴛᴋᴀ ᴜ ᴘʀᴏꜰᴇꜱᴏʀᴀ ꜰɪʟᴜᴛᴋᴀ, as part of the 1st edition of the Łapka Filusia award, granted the victory to “Helena Wiktoria” by Katarzyna Witerscheim. It is an award for stimulating conversations about feelings and for filling a romantic niche in Polish comics. This will also be an opportunity to talk with the author about how the comic is received in different circles and about how important meeting readers’ needs was in the creative process. Łapka Filusia is an award given primarily for a comic with heart. Although the criterion is general, concrete threads about the heart in comics will arise in the conversation. The gala of presenting the statuette to Katarzyna Witerscheim will be combined with an author meeting led by Michał Rzecznik — both have been creating comics for over 20 years, so it will be a conversation about the heart from the perspective of time.
