YOGA FOR STRONG BONES Practical-educational workshops for women 40+ with Bodzia Matulaniec Menopausal transformation is a natural life stage in which hormonal changes affect, among other things, bone density, muscle strength and body stability. A drop in estrogen levels can accelerate bone mass loss, increasing the risk of osteopenia and osteoporosis. At the same time, appropriately chosen movement and diet have documented effectiveness. Bones are living tissue — they respond to loading, resistance and the direction of force. Research shows that regular practice based on mindful bone loading and strength training can slow down, and in many cases reverse, adverse changes in the skeletal system, also after menopause. These workshops combine practice and a lecture based on current scientific knowledge. Most of the time will be spent on the mat, learning how to safely and effectively strengthen bones, care for recovery and the nervous system. Workshop program: - Lecture on bone health during menopausal transformation: - bone physiology - impact of hormones and the environment - osteopenia and osteoporosis in light of current research - Bone-strengthening yoga practice: - safe loading - axial work and stabilization - resistance exercises and elements of strength training (adapted to the needs of women 40+) - Balance and coordination practice - Regenerative yoga supporting the nervous system - Tips for an independent, regular practice For whom: - Women in peri- and postmenopausal periods - People with osteopenia or osteoporosis - Women who want to strengthen bones in a safe and conscious way - People seeking reliable knowledge and practical tools "The skeleton is the foundation — if it is strong, the whole body stands steadily."
